i got a powerflow full system at the weekend sounds the dogs but the diameter of the pipe is now 2" all the way through, will this alter the backpressure at all and will it effect the performance at all?

what was it before, and yes it will alter it, but how much is another question.

it was just a standard exhast with a back box on, will it increase fuel consumption at all?

well any form of back pressure is bad, but 2inch is supposed to be best for torque on a vts (apart from highly modded etc)

so it aint gonn abe too bad then ? will it increase fuel or not m8 i thort it would reduce backpressure as the bigger diameter pipe

it will reduce it, but torque is created by the scavanging effect in the exhaust, thats why putting large backboxs and large diameter exhaust ie vtr ones on 1.1s make them worse but sound different.

so is it gonna be good or bad for fuel? and good or bad for performance?
cheers
