I'm setting about doing my engine conversion next month, so whilst my old engine is out of the bay I'm thinking about spending some time de-greasing and spraying up the bay a little as there are one or two small rust spots and i don't want them getting any worse. Do any of you guys know of any good anti rust stuff i can use to get rid of the rust and protect these area's before i primer and spray.Cheers

Ryan.

Wire brush off any surface rust then coat it in Aquasteel Rust converter (http://www.aquasteel.co.uk/).
It stops any further oxidation and turns what is left back into metal, worked wonders on my wheel arches. :)

You can get it £10 off eBay! :y:

Wire brush, 2 layers of Jenolite Rust Treatment and then paint with hammerite or spray cans
