hi guys ive asked few questions about this before and this may be a silly question but could you run a vts engine on a vtr loom and ecu as a temporary mesure until i had the time and money to buy a predator ecu and a vts loom? the vts is same year of manufacture ect just to let you know

No you cant as the ecu will give a different firing order (if different etc) and all the sensors will be different matey.

I have a 2001 vtr (51reg) does it matter what vts engine i buy for a conversion? Single plus 3 plug etc. Or can i whack in any engine?

you can buy any mate but if you get the wrong one its more hard work just make sure you buy the right engine as in same year of make and make sure you get the same plug loom makes life easier for you and saves money

Yes you will need it unlocking from say, Bluehawk or a chap on here does it. VTS clocks do fit and work as they have an oil level/temperature which I find handy, so i would fit them.

Bluehawk are £85 or something, cant remember lol. I reckon its quite easy, aslong as the wiring is correct, and you dont lose any fuses along the way etc its simply a swap over with the engines.
