What sorta gains would i get from putting an induction kit on it on my vts?
At the moment it only has a straight thru stainless exhaust with a de-cat.
Also whats the best induction kit too buy? Or do they all give out the same gains?

as above the gains arnt that noticable mate ,
you may think you are going faster because of the sound but the gain is barely noticeable,
id just stik with the standord air box and an uprated panel filter ,
but if you seriously want one id recomend a cda enclosed or a procomp if you can get hold of one.
do a search mate thers LOADS of threads on induction thatl help you out

A good induction kit will add a few bhp in most cases, aswell as making it rev more freely.

Yeah some good ones might allow the engine to rev more freely, however they're never as good as the OE airbox design.

Have you seen a saxo airbox? I am sure a Simota is of a better design.
OE air boxes 90% of the time can be improved on.

Judging by the guys name, he has a VTS. On the OE VTS airbox, remove the 'intestine' stuff and replace it with some decent silicone hosing and away you go!

I dont see the point of an engine conversion with the saxo's IMO as the diff in vtr/vts isnt a great amount.....At the min my bro's converting his focus rs(330bhp) to a sierra cossie 4x4 once complete will be looking at around 500 - 550 bhp.
As for the saxo i might just stick a KnN panel filter on with a cold air feed!
Or maybe a Stick my bro's FRS engine init ;)
Cheers for the help.

You dont see the point in 20 or 30bhp more? Twice as many valves? Twin cam engine?
Because i do tbh and for the sake of around £500, its the cheapest form of increasing your BHP.

Sell the vtr buy a vts if you want the extra 20 - 30 there basically the same price near enough, unless you were only doing it to defraud insurance companies which is fine until you have a crash then basically your fooked. But each to there own.

pretty much nothing tbh, allthough i would recommend a filter that helps against heat soak
as that will bog your car down alot
