When accelerating from a local roundabout (and various other roads) quickly i find my car suffers from oil/petrol starvation basically it will bog rite down and once the pedal is pumped a few times the power will kick in again....im not sure if this is a faulty sensor or maybe a problem with starvation at the pump...

does anyone else suffer from this???

Thanks

mine is having a strange problem like this mate

mine doesnt seem to start properly all the time, sometimes i have to engage the starter motor a few times to prime it more than usual to get it to start... and sometimes i floor it tand it gets to maybe 4k rpm it bogs down and wont go past it and then it will clear itself

its fine on the straights its just going fast round a tightish corner....

my mates saxo goes round em fine just oddd.....

i swapped my fuel pump from an xsi one to a gti one and it sits very close to the bottom of the tank...think i might swap back to the xsi one as it has a gauze fitted at the bottom to suck petrol right from the bottom..!!!.

had this problem b4 and i changed the fuel filter and that sorted it but try it with a full tank of fuel and see if that makes a difference

Basically fuel surge... Being forced to one side of the tank and not picking any up. You need a swirl pot ;)

What car is it btw?

Edit,

Unless its a dicky fuel pump/conection that coincidentally has only failed when going round corners! :panic:
