For Rusty789 on here, can anyone diagnose -

EM light flashing on dash
Car appears to be 'chugging' on idle and whilst driving
Loss of power

(1.1 8v, so I guess loss of power is normal)

Engines aren't my forte but it doesn't sound good...

could be any number of things dude!! i would check coil pack and spark plug leads..............:y:

without knowing the code, i had the problem on my vtr... could be:

spark plugs
ICV
air filter
fuel filter
injectors

various things
