looking at getting the head gasket for my turbo conversion from gmc motorsport just wondered what they were like with delivery
going to be running about 6psi
they do 1.5, 1.7 and 1.9mm headgasket... whats the best one to get, will be using it with a 1mm decomp plate
i was original going to use 1.6 but they dont do 1.6 so i was thinking of the 1.7? or would 1.5 be ok?

delivery is good - been quick for things I've ordered !
surely lower compression is better so go with the 1.7?
Also, wouldn't you sandwich the decomp plate bewteen two headgaskets ? So that you don't end up with the head against a metal decomp plate? I've never fitted one but it'd make sense due to the coatings on the headgaskets to help them bed onto the two metal mating surfaces

As long as the parts in stock, they can deliver next day, or standard 3 day post.
If parts aren't in stock it may take a bit longer.

yeah ive read up about that mate and i was told the same thing about the gasket and decomp plate too that if your using a larger head gasket then you dont need a decomp but i dont think il chance it im going for a 1mm decomp plate and a 1.7mm head gasket
and yeah i was also told its its
block-gasket-decomp-paste-head
paste/sealent il probs use the hylomar too as the stuff from ferriday engineering is double the price lol
