Ive got a piper-x on my mrk1 vtr.
It looks good and gives a wicked induction roar.
Had mine on a rolling road and got 104bhp from the kit and a backbox which is good gains from a 90bhp standard. Since yours is mrk2 which is meant to be around 100bhp standard you should get a good gain.

i have got a piper x on my MK2 Saxo. Not only does the foam filter look awesome it also gives one of the best induction roars i have heard. It is supposed to give in the region of 7-10bhp gain depending on location. The only downside is when you open the throttle you can heard a slight metal on metal tapping noise which i can only assume is the air intake opening and closing.

Piper-X is a manufacturer of induction kits and a backbox is a section of an exhaust system.

SaxoPT o k ele deve querer dizer é q o piper-x é a mesma coisa que um bmc ou um green e a backbox é a panela final de rendimento.

These open piperx and k&n are rubbish cause they are usally located behind the engine and suck in hot air from the engine bay, which is gay for performance, i dont see how you'd get a 7-10 bhp gain with one of these filters even if you did have a cold air feed, i've known of loads of people that have lost power cause of fitting one of these open induction kits, your much better off with an enclosed induction kit such as the green, pro comp or bmc, i've got the bmc kit which gives a nice throaty roar (but not too loud) and the car pulls much better from low down in the rev range, and cause the filter is fitted inside a carbon fibre cylinder it is protected from heat from the eninge, so colder deneser air gets feed to the engine.
