wot are presure plates and wot do the do because ive heard loads of people talking about them i was wondering on wot they do cheers

pressure plate is another name for a clutch cover

Part of a clutch basicaly, without them it wouldn't work.

the "clutch disc" is also known as the friction plate

it keeps the friction plate pressed against the flywheel, without the pressure plate the friction plate wouldn't transfer drive thus no go go ;) haha
