misfire on 2001 vtr

i've got a 2001 vtr with 105k on the clock and it's just started to misfire from tick over to red line. i've changed the coil pack, spark plugs and crank sensor and now im just stumped.

look into the injectors, my injector was loose, before finding that i had changed the coil pack 2 times, rewired ignition wires, reset the ecu and change the spark plugs.

misfire on saxos is usualy something to do with the fueling mate, wak some fuel system cleaner through it ( i recomend STP ), maybe even change the injectors, if not could always get a diagnostic done..

its has been link to laptop and all it said was misfire on cylinder1.then you'll go to the next fault code cylinder3 and so on

Did it say misfire on all cylinders, ie 1-3-4-2? Any other faults present or just misfire?

Check you've not nackered the threads on cylinder head , Or even not tightened the plugs enough.

no it just brings up misfire 1.3.4.1.2.3.4.1.2.4.3.1. its just random in the order. plugs are tight. gaps are ok
