get the mani first then the cam. you will see a bigger gain with the cam after the mani is on :)

well cams will give more power but are more expensive, after the price of buying the cam kit and getting it re-mapped and unless you do it yourself you'll hav to pay someone to fit the cam, whereas a manifold will take anyone about an hour to fit at the most with the most basic tool set lol kam racing said a 4-2-1 manifold and supersprint exhaust will give 13bhp to a vtr normally id take those figures with a pinch of salt but i trust kam

I've got a piper 4-1 and love it tbh!! Very good quality and nice fit !

cheers*

mani will de-restrict the air flow, thus making cams a better addition at a later stage

8v camshafts cost from £200 - £250,
fitting = £200 - £300
ECU remap - £400 or so?

Ive got a raceland 4-2-1 manifold doesn't make any sound difference tbh but Ive got a standard exhaust on it at the mo, i have got a de-cat exhaust but that's gonna have to wait to be fitted until after the mot lol hopefully then it'll sound and pop better lol

Hello mate.

I would advise you get the Manifold first. Then cam, then get it all mapped.

What system do you have fitted?

We have the Manifold on offer at the moment for £328 delivered :D

Linky :) (http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/detprod.asp?productcode=MANCIT2S&PID=1070367)

Hope that helps.

Kind Regards

Garry
