i was looking at a new exhaust but its for a VTS, the new exhaust is a decat, but my VTR is still standard manifold. do both the ends of pipe have the same connection so it will fit, or do i need to get it modified???

Most After market systems use the standard spring clamp.

And if your cat is in the manifold, it won't 'de-cat' your car.

For that, you will need a new manifold.

Cheap option:mk1 mani with downpipe = 20

normal option: 4-2-1 manifold = 130-200 (see most gains)

Expensive option: Sports cat = 230-300 (fully legal, and mot friendly)

I dont think it will fit mate, they do need the same connection, why would you look at a vts exhaust for your vtr???

its not that i want to de-cat my car. its just i know the cat is in the exhaust on a vts, its second hand and i know it sounds nice
