View Full Version : Help is this the right manifold..

Just got this home its a supersprint 4-2-1 cleaned it up so you can see better, I'm pretty sure it's the right one but don't want to go wasting my time, This is for the 2001 > 98bhp vtr 3 plug engine cheers!

Good man, It's just a bought a manifold before and it never fitted but it wasn't a supersprint, Cheers Chico!

Shouldn't be too bad got a mate who's an apprent mechanic coming over, got loads of tools / exhaust paste. Just hope i don't get pulled too soon ;) And i'm sure it will free up a MASSIVE 1bhp haha.

Got it fitted and must say holey shit sounds lush! Only bad thing is EML came on after 2 hours :( Any idea's on how to get the light out again?

Disconnect the led or tape over the light.

Its a known fault when you bang and aftermarket mani on

You need to put the second lambda sensor (with the blue connector) in a sleeve so it reads 'clean' air. If you PM williamsvts, he should be able to make you one for a decent price... £17.25 is robbery haha.

No need as lambda sleeve will sort the light.

Cheers man , It's only one wire and i plugged it where the standard wire came from and the other one's blank? Will take pics saturday cheers. X

Cheers man good contact for the sale and good price! I cleaned it up and put her on was an easy process done in under two hours, Definete increase in power feels like it picks up so much better and what a roar!

Yeah man i'd say so, Revs so much more freely. Just a little too loud for my liking with the janspeed straight through.
