Should declare everything really.
Only things you could get away with not declaring is cams really, or anything ese which is buried deeply in the engine.

Silly question. A modification is a change. Either it be different wheels, or different air intake box. A change is a change and insurance companies really only want to insure standard factory cars. A change can be liable for crashing etc.

better to declare imo. then if you crash and they find out you havnt declared mods, they will rape you.

Best to declare or not mod.
Caught undeclared is as bad as driving without insurance

tbh mate, its best to ring insurance groups and ask then, just say i have a saxo or whatever car you have, let them give you a quote, then go, how much would it go up, or would it go up if i add on the extra mods,
Etc etc

im with AA at the moment, i was insured on my provisional L plates and as u know it should get more expensive when u pass, but they said it didnt matter and would stay the same, maybe they will keep it the same if i have an induction kit!

just ring your insurance and get a quote, declare everything or pay the price at the end when you crash or kill someone. Imagine paying off the court fees, any personal injury, damaged property. your life wouldnt be worth living

You could swap the gearbox for one that give quicker acceleration like a xsi box I doubt you insurance would go to the bother of checking the gearbox code

my insurance was £1300 on a vtr with 1year's no claim's.
told them about the exhaust system, air filter, wheels, bucket and harnesse's and it has gone up by £200. not too bad :)

A good service and some TLC would be a better bet!
Look after the power that you are supposed to have!

You dont have to delcare any, but on your head be it. Insurance companies will be picky over anything if you have a crash or it gets damaged / stolen.
