any of you know if a 306gti engine will fit into a saxo vtr?
if so what is needed ?

i'm going to go ahead and say no.. i used to have a 306 and there is far more room in the bay than a saxo. plus you will need a hell of alot of custom parts i would imagine

yes it can if you want to spend the cash on it anything can be done

it will fit but to be fair due to the fabrication costs involved its not realy financaly viable.

ok guys cheers.. got a vts lump hear but seen the figures of the 306 gti engine and thought it could have been fun.

you can fit them quite easily. just some fiddling with wiring and its best to use a 5speed box so it fits in the inner wing. The weight of it seriously upsets a saxos handling though. Not worth doing tbh

this subject has been covered a fair bit already
basically its not cost effective as its a lot of custom work to get it to fit and the great handling of the saxo will be comprimised a lot
