Service and Cambelt Change

I got my car serviced today, and changed the cambelt whilst i was at it. They changed the oil, oil filter, water pump, fuel filter, few bulbs, spark plugs and new cambelt! They charged me £330, (wish i did it myself now), can any body share there prices of their services and cambelt change, just want to know if im being mugged off. Any body get service and cambelt change cheaper then 330 quid?

Also it misfired very briefly at low revs in 3rd and then hasnt done it since, how the hell can it misfire right after a service? any suggestions would be great!!

just for a cambelt change for my vtec its £160 non honda garage.
and honda wants £210.

renault wanted over 500 for a cam belt change on my 182

mine cost £250 for pretty much the same job - got it done by a local bloke though so may have got a better rate than normal

is that 330 including all parts?

yea thats 330 for parts and labour..the lot, he even fixed my raceland induction in propally which i thought was a touch and gave me a free fog light.. but still i thought it was a bit much? .. also can any1 explain the slight misfiring, which only happens very briefly and didnt before the service, when the engines warm doesnt seem to do it?!?!?! confuuuuseedd

£330 isnt toooo bad really including all parts. Misfire could be an incorrectly gapped plug

fair enough, i suppose if i had gone to citreon it would have been double that amount! oh right, i havent payed a penny yet so i will get them to check the gaps or i mite do it all college tomorow. could it also be something to do with the coil adapting to new plugs??

sometimes people get a misfire after they change there spark plugs. i'd bet on that tbh as its not going to be the others
