i bought a oil cooler from ebay for my vtr as it was cheap its a mocal one but it had been fitted on an escort rs turbo
it comes with an in-line thermostat and a normal sandwich plate
will the sandwich plate still fit? or will i need a new one
also i got the bolt part that holds the thermostat in plate and lets you screw the oil filter onto the end... will that fit or will i need a new 1 of them bits too
cheers,
rob.

should fit - you need a M20 oil filter adapter - whether the ford one has this or not god knows.

thats what i have that sandwich plate but a genuine mocal one
and also the thread/bolt part
think the best way is to go get the new oil filter and see if it screws on the thread lol

yeh, the thread adapter is the bit you wana worry about - looking at it though it's an M20 which the same as the Saxo one so should slot straight on !!
