Well my 106 GTI has an oil leak which looks like its coming from the head gasket, i have no mayo though so im ok for now but i need to replace it.

I have been searching high and low for some jp4 rockers due to the replacable seals etc...

I have been offered and can collect a JP4 head including rockers etc... for £100.

Is this a good price for the whole head?
Is it worth fitting the whole head to my 106 GTI bottom end or just the JP4 rockers and sell the head?
Is it easier enough to fit?
Am i going to experience any problems with valve and piston clearance etc...?

Thanks,

Andy

You can buy them brand new iirc for £100 mate, that way you know there flat so you wont have issues with oil leaks like Rushy did.

From Citroen or Peugeot directly?

For the whole head? You sure? Thought it would be a LOT more expensive than £100 for the head.

I priced up just the rockers on its own including bolts and vapour hose and it came to £125.

Sorry there's so many, but give you an idea of the engine spec that these heads can help with, and the things to consider when fitting

you cant get the head for £100 brand new, the covers are 100-120 depending on whether you get the breather pipes and the Citroen dealer you go to

Yeah, i priced it all up at £125 inc pipes and fittings.

J222JRA seemed to say you can get the head for £100.

I found out this head i was talking to you earlier about Ross is from a 206 on a 2004 with 60k on it.
