Worth decatting?

As far as i know my car has a sports cat (Bought the car already with it)

Would i have any benefit by decatting it and just having a straight through (2 inch?) pipe?

Am i likely to see any real world gains coupled with a jp4 head, blitz backbox and soon to be 4-1 manifold?

First off, a 4-2-1 would be better for your spec. Also what centre section have you got?

But sports cats arn't really a whole lot better than a normal one. Just take the cat off and see if you like it, if not just put it back on :)

I am going to get throttle boddies next year so i was told a 4-1 would be better?

Got a standard GTI centre section.
