Car making strange metalic noise

It's coming from the engine / engine bay and it happens when ever i ease off the accelerator and when i change from 2nd to 3rd, i just got a new exhaust fitted so i'm hoping its the exhaust just squeeking about. it's a high pitched squeeky/metalic noise anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Well from what you say it sounds like something rubbin' not anything to do with your Engine providing you have enough oil... =/

Have a look in your Engine Bay to see if anything is rubbin' or has rub marks Etc... If your floor vibrates as well it could be your Gearbox mount, they tend to snap :)

Or Drive shafts, when mine went they squeeked, I just kept greasing them :)

if you think the exhaust might be moving, it might be blowing. An old car I used to have made like a ticking / metallicy noise because the join between manifold and exhaust wasnt perfect
