does anybody know the rough weight of a full exhaust system? cheers. excl. manifold.

according to kamracing the supersprint sytem weighs about 9kgs iirc?

A OE Manifold, centre section, cat and backbox would weigh around 20KGs imo aswell.

The stock manifold weighs about 8 or 9 KG's! It's cast iron!!!

I reckon 25KG!! I've got some fishing scales and a complete system off the car. 20p's in?

Wow, incredible. Imagine the lower fuel economy just dragging the std system around! lol

Could say the same about keeping stuff in your car like coats, jump leads, magazines, drinks etc

All adds up lol

Forgot I posted in here!

Its a smidgin under 60lb's! Got knows what that is in KG's. Thats for (from a VTS) manifold, cat, midpipe and backbox. All OE equipment.

27.21KG I think turns that works out to. That's pretty heavy lol

Anyone got the weight of a Supersprint manifold back?

I hardly ever think of the affect that the weight loss is going to have on performance aswell with exhausts :)

Wouldn't mind knowing this aswell as the ss manifold weight as thats what i'm running.
