just a quick gearbox question

ive been looking at getting a 1.1. box on my westcoast, and a friend of a friend who is a mechanic just happends to have one, its out of a 2001 1.1 , so will a 01 box fit my t reg westy . he sed he will sell me the box nd fit it for 100 quid.

yeah pretty sure there the same, i was goint to put one on my vtr for a laugh but just havnt had the time or money to do it

get it, you shouldnt need to change your driveshafts either, iirc the diff size is the same?
£100 for the box and fitting is a good price, get a new clutch at the same time

Yeh diff is same size - driveshafts will fit too
