vts gearbox and a long straight will do it.

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol not this again.
A vtr will not do 130, 120 tops mite say it on the clocks but its not going 130.
A vts will maybe do 130 and will go off the clock but will not begoing 140.
I done a gps test with my vtr 16v and it did 133 flat out, put a bar of boost in to my vts and it ran f;at out at 145. or 165 with a vtr box ;)

what does it matter. as above the dials will go off the clock but you wont be going much faster than 115 in a vtr and 125vts

with a furio box :S you do know how long these boxes are ? Limiter in 5th would be over 150 off the top of my head

actually curious to what my vtr will be capable of when its all turbo'd and mapped.... investing in some 140mph clocks as my w reg only has 120 clocks in it

all depends on your max rpm mate if you only rev it to standard rpm it will still only do the same top speed ie 120mph. if you lift the rpm to the same as a vts (higher by around 1200rpm) and have a good 200hp you sould be able to run it to around 250mph on a vtr box.

why will it go of the clock but you would still be hitting 120 :S?

because the dials are in accurate and give a false reading.

because the calibration of the saxo's clocks are way off at hi speeds.

yeah i was doing 85mph and my sat nav only said i was doing around 77 i thought my dials got more out the faster i went although the sat nav could just be slightly out?

the clocks do generally go more off the higher the speed your going

the sat nat is accurate. dont trust your speedo if it says ur doing 120mph its more like 100-105mph

this does depend on the size of the tire your running aswell (which will casue speedo to be inaccurate)
