i no alexB had trouble getting his to get up to temperature on normal day driving i wouldnt thougt BHP has anything to with it... depend how hard you drive the car.. track days and it would be fine on normal engine

If you do get one, make sure it is thermostatically controlled

that was when i had no thermostat
there is no point on a standard car unless your ragging it to death everywere
and bhp bears no difference
ive seen over 180 bhp cars with no cooler
but if your using it hard the oil will get warm

i wanst on mine i just had the mocal and then a 106 gti top rad hose

the standard one seems to do quite well on a lot of cars tbh
i got rid of mine when i bought my mocal
never really tested it untill i ran my vtr so didnt know just how well it would cool (too well lol) hence buying the thermostat
its all irrelevent now though as engine let go just after i got it all right
