Luckily engines are not gold dust so it shouldnt be too long before you have a new one

Insurance shouldn't be so bad, do what others have done tell them there's no CC change and send of new engine number worked for a few people and insurance went up say £100, don't mention number of valves.

i'd find out who fitted the belt. Go get them to replace your engine due to poor quality work

you wont need a new engine due to a cambelt snap rebuilt the head throw a new belt on it and away you go

Simples!

rebuild the top end?

As above.. Wont take you more than a day.

rebuild the top end?

Yes

Top end = Head
Bottom End = Block

When a Cambelt Snaps the Valve Timing Goes all to Sh!t This when the Bottom End is spinning the Pistons Smash into the Valves which are in the head.

In Most Cases you just replace the Valves in the head.

In Extreme Cases if the Pistons have gouges out of them then be aswell sourcing a New Engine.

But id bet my Integra that its just bent the valves.

Hope this Sheds some light
