Hi,

three months ago, my center exhaust pipe was changed by the gage as its broken from the middle and they charged me £125 for replacing. Its too much really for me. Now i can see my exhaust tail box pipe has broken just near the center exhaust pipe. I would like to replace this by myself to save the cost and the new exhaust pipe comes at the price of £30 from my local car parts shop. Is any body knows how to replace this part? The clamps (to connect center and tail pipe) are new so i think i could use them what else i need to replace this. Tail pipe seems to be hanging through the two rubber stip (on left and right) to the bottom of car which i think i could remove and refit easily. Do i need some other thing for this job? Any advice will really be appricated.

lossen the clamps off,
drop the backbox out of the rubbers get the new one and reverse the process,
really simple,
ten minute job mate.

by clamp i mean the one right on the end of the backbox, and you can do it all without even jacking it up

Thank you. Will i require some putty, gas kit or some paste between the joint (center and tail pipe seal)

i have got it to seal without putty in the past but you can use some putty if you want for peace of mind.
