Is anyone elses fan loud for about two minutes when turning of the engine?

mine used to the engine was gettin to hot i had a new thermostat fitted not doin it now the temp was quite high so keep an eye on it should sit about half then fan kicks in a bit over

It depends on where youve been driving, the fact you live in Bristol means a lot of stop start driving so when you get home your cars still hot even in this weather. Your fans just cooling down your coolant, its normal and acceptable. However if the temp goes above 3/4 a lot even in traffic you might want to flush your coolant system, its often neglected in servicing.
