maybe not best place to put this but one thing that anoys me on my saxo is the acceleratore feels like you stepping on friggin mash potatoe ...
i presume this is to do with the spring mounted on the throttle bodie ?
anyway of stiffning this up to make the pedle a little bit more firm

It may be the cable it self. They do tend to gummup when they get old.

As said the cable can make it feel like mash as you put it.
Get a new one see if it feels any different. If it doesnt sell your car and buy something else

i suppose you could add a spring to the pedal itself.

you are joking i wouldnt sell my saxo for that ... i like the car just thaught there mite be a simple way of fixing this . . .
