work from the lowest bleeding point to the highest, as bubbles will only rise!
and do it with the engine running, and hot heaters on.

okay even if the engine is cold? put the hot heater on full? do i open the bleeding points 1 by 1 or all at the same time? Cheers Lee

start it up put your heaters on, open your bonnet, and crack on. open them one at a time, starting at the lowest point.

Bleed points:
- top of radiator, passenger side. Twist-out cap
- thermostat housing. 5mm brass Allen
- drivers side at the back of engine bay next to inlet. 'bike tyre' nipple, screw cap

lowest point is at radiator and working down my list (need a header tank though)

Don't know if youve solved it already but, you do it with the engine running, but do not attempt to take the cap fully off, just turn it till you hear the air escaping, like you can do with a bottle of fizzy drink :) hope this helps :)

Not really tbh.

Put header tank on the radiator

Get the engine running and hot enough so that the thermostat is open (top radiator hose will be hot)

Then go through opening the bleed points until water constantly runs out of it. Then close it and move onto the next one.

I gotta do this tomorow and was just wondering is the thermostat housing just to the right of the rocker cover? And how hot does the engine have to be when this is done?

hot enough for the thermostat to be open ideally.

Yes, it's at the engine end of the top radiator hose

i have heard water running when i have done mine in the past, id fill the coolant bottle up and run it and hear it, you cant overfill the bottle obv so alls you got to do is be patient, i did mine over a few days, the engine gets warm, let it cool down and you will find the water in the bottle has dropped, just fill it up again and repeat the process, when i did mine i ran the engine with the top cap open (the one that looks like a cycle dust cap) on the top left, when the water comes out cap it. then id turn off the engine and open the bottom bleed valve on the rad until water is coming out then tighten. best bet then it to just run it and see how it goes, check the water over the following few days and if it needs topping up top it up and it shud sort itself out.
