not much point turboing 1.4 engine for same price you could get a VTS engine which would make more power. ( i think )

but what if he only wants to turbo his 1.4? and if you only "think" it may make more power why post? what if your wrong? (your not oc) but that would be pretty bad advice and you'd look quite stupid wouldnt you?

haha go blackie lol.

tbh mate if its the 1 on ebay you will have to change the elbow cos it needs to be a smooth turn no like 90 degree flat lol.

and sam not every1 wants to do a engine change its like telling the vtr boys get a vts engine theres no point in putting a turbo on a vtr when most of the people that done it are more then happy with it. thats crap advice to be honest he didnt ask you what you thought he was asking advice on how to and what to do.

donnyboy if you can get a pic of what it looks like we might be able to help you better.

lol i cant help it but its painfully obvious that you shouldnt make statements about a subject then put "i think" on the end? waste of time among more practical things comes to mind?

haha come on lets stop spamming his question :) lol

yea stay away from that unless you wana fix it instead of putting it on straight away. you would need to sort the intake arm out coz of the 90 degree flat bend. and im not to sure it might jsut be my eyes but it looks like it on the wonk so it would starve the turbo for oil.

lets see what blackie thinks,

on a positive note if you could get that cheap it already has a 5th injector and all the sump plugs to and from so you would have nearly all sorted

haha 1 more for me aswell :) lol

had a better look at it just now does that even have an intercooler and the air filter pipes?

stay well away mate, its just one of those bodged together pieces of shit thats floating around, if your scroll down a few posts/pages youll see this exact turbo in a thread, and i quote "the worst set up ive ever see"
read the stickies at the top of each section mate, all the info you need about turbos etc is in there, just stay well away from ebay gear as its worthles and will be a serious risk to your engine

you can get bits cheap mate. take a few trips to the scrap yard :y: and get bits and boobs that you can work with and then get a propa mani decomp plate for the sump 5th injector or go standalone and pipes and air filter.

thts what im goin to do look for bits cheap give them a good clean and do it to the best of my possabilatys :y: coz i dont have rivers of money to spend either.

what turbo you goin for btw blackie? t25?

cheers mate, but id say(and so will most) if you havent got decent money to spend on a reliable build its not worth going for, but if youve got a bit spare and have a daft car just for a bit fun and a sapre engine you could do it very cheaply long as you know it will burst,

get breathing mods, cams better suspension breaks and then save up for a turbo then your car wont be all about power coz you will need to be able to handle it lol. its not all about straight line speed mate.

if your 17 take things slow im 20 and i just finished fitting a vts engine mate now im goin to start doin what i always wanted but i do have other commitments so it will need to be a slow process which i might not even finishe and get a better car lol

stay well away, that intake it like a right angle, as said somewhere above you need to keep the airflow as smooth as possible so it all flows schwweeeet. that is a bag of toss mate
