hello there, does removing the egr system make any differance on performance? ano it makes the engine bay look tidyer but does it gave any gain on power? thanks

Can't see how it makes any difference to be honest as the pump is on the exhaust side of the head and pumps fresh air in with the exhaust gases to help with emissions.

Removing it will save a tiny bit of weight and tidy the engine bay up.

As said, it isn't actually an EGR valve - it just pumps fresh air into the exhaust ports on cold starts. Just left mine alone to be honest.

on the sax it isn't a real egr but only an air pump which puts air on the 4 cylinder for the firsts minutes to let the motor reach temperature in a quicker time!
it's useless anyway! :)
