right is this a straight swap? or am i going to have to change all sorts of bits and peices?
Some of the wiring is different and some of the plugs are different, why put another vtr engine in though? Just put a Vts in it. smileys/smiley2.gif

theres not the much difference between the 90 brake and 98 brake. i have a mk2 90 brake and have driven the 98 and personally they seem as fast as each other, very little difference!
you will want to get a vts if you are going to do a swop, drive one and you will see why mate! smileys/smiley2.gif

tryin to do the exact same thing and need help also...
wot Ive discovered so far is the the ECU is different...and the size of the plug that plugs into the ECU...so I'm thinkin thatit has to be engine and ECU and loom..at least to under the dash......
On the other hand, as mine is burning oil, maybe just use the block and swap heads over....that way should be able to use the existing wiring ECU etc...
Wot do you think guys...help..........
