Engine on loss of power>?

my VTS last night developed a miss fire, and is only running on 3 cylinders, under weight and throttle there is a rattling noise, as if a valve has gone or something, theres a huge lack of power and i cant put my finger on it?

sounds a lot like the coil pack. might be worth checking that against a known working one before pulling things apart :)

Normally a misfire is
Plugs
Coilpack
Injector it seems

Sounds like top of the engine when I go past 2000 it taps I'm gonna try a coil pack later really buggin me as it sounds like itl blow up lol

Sounds like I got the exact same problem, on friday i went down from third to second an it lost majority of its power and the engine sounds as if it should be stuck on a go kart, still avent managed to get it looked at properly. I took the rocker cover off yesterday to check every thing looked good around the valves an it all looks ok. Went to put it all back together and realised i couldnt find one of the spacers that the plate under the cover sits on, idiot :wall: Anyone got a spare? lol
