Im not sure that blocking them off is a good idea (im no expert though) Just that surely a breather pipe is there for a reason????

how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking, you might want to put a filter on the other pipe tho mate other wise you might start smelling

should run t to the catch can, and then back to where you have that t peice, and back,

what youve done above in that pic is shite,

whats the point in the catch can being open to air.

fill the catch can with wire wool, and run i from the rocker, to the catch can, then the catch can connected to where you have that T peice blocked off

its shit, if it was connected normally, oil wouldnt get all over the rocker cover.

but i cant conect it properly cos i have changed the piping on the air filter.... what i had before was an oil breather on the top of the rocker cover so all the vapours collected on the rocker cover and bonnet.... whatu said is a good idea that i didnt think off but i dont think you can call it shit :S

better to leave it connected mate, its the carbon cannister your talking about.

atleast if the catch can is then connected to the inlet, the vac in the inlet will draw the air from the rocker, through the catch can, and back to the inlet, then the scourer/wire wool in the catch can, will catch the droplets of oil and allow the air to pass through it.

the other side of the catch can shouldnt be left open to atmoshpere, its not good. oh, and its an MOT failure i believe
