ive heard the engine mount is different on the 1.1 so to fit the 16v in i would need to change the mount? is this correct?

as i like the idea of fitting a 1.1 with a 16v for a bit of a sleeper car.

well i know a few people on here have done the conversion but i cant think of names besides raunchz and he doesnt mention anything about engine mount but maybe you dont have to change on a 1.4?

theres a yellow 1 that was in performance french cars aswell that did the 16v conversion but i cant find the progress thread or remember the user name for it

From memory I think you will need to. If you post up a picture of the drivers side of the engine bay we should be able to confirm from it whether it needs to be or not.
