is it worth swapping a K&N induction kit for an enclosed Raceland induction kit? are there any benefits?

Barely, just keep the K&N and invest in a heat shield and keep the standard ducting directing air at it.

if i were you i would get the raceland one as it draws in more cold air from the front of the car rather than a K&N would draw a lot of warm air from around the engine

A induction kit will gain 5bhp AT VERY BEST, the Raceland would probably gain 1 or 2. There not worth spending a huge ammount on, if he already has the K&N he may aswell just get a heat shield, because at the end of the day spendng £85 on a Raceland isn't going to make a worthwhile difference tbh

Panel filter and modify your standard ducting. Personally i think them big raceland induction kits are a waste of money.

Just put a panel filter in unless you want the meaty induction roar.

'good' cold air feed + panel filter > any induction kit

Theres going to be no difference or 0.1 in any of them. waste of time and money.

it will not make any real difference but will be kinder to your engine in the long run using a raceland as you will get lower inlet temps.
