There a load of crap, except on a highly modified car. They don't do what they claim on normal / slightly modified engines. The consensus on here has always been to stay away from them.

not worth it then? his car flat spots before it picks up, i thought that would be a godd idea to look into as with the pressure it wont flat spot as bad

Really won't help tbh mate. I am waiting for someone like Raunchz or Sparco_Tom to comment and give you more details, but all i can say is don't get one.

its just a cheap FPR.
If theres flat spots then look at the mapping

Well said. Its just a fuel pressure regulator. The Saxo already has a perfectly good one.

It won't help flat spots unless the current fpr is knackered. All it does without proper set up is put more fuel in. This will probably create flat spots.
If you're (he's) going to go to the trouble of getting it set up correctly then I'd go to the trouble of getting the job done properly (either a re-map or a correctly regulated -ie not the "FSE power boost valve" - FPR)

flat spots
if car is std check tps sensor maybe a bad bit of track causing no signal to ecu at cetain times .
If you still suspect fuel starvation --fit a pressure gauge to system and see if fuel pressure drops under acceleration --if so then you have a problem .
first thing i would do is change fuel filter--partialy blocked filter would cause hesitation .
not a definative answer as lots of other possibilites ,but i wouldn,t be wasting money on a fuel reg without more info .
I certainly agree that just fitting a higher pressure reg will not cure a flat spot generally.
