how can i find out what ecu my car has as the last dickhead to fix it, nicked it!!!!!!!!

says u have a mark 1 vtr, so you have a single plug ecu..

so i take it there is only 1 ecu type 4 this engine as i thought they had afew where would i get one unlocked?as i aint got a clue where to start thanx x

\single plug for a vtr.. look aboce he unlocks them for 65..

its either an mp5.2 ecu or mp7.2, i didnt know they did a silvertop in 1998. If you look at the ecu connector if it has 2 sizes of pins is a 7.2, if theyre all the same size its a 5.2
