can anyone tell me the best induction kit, or which will give me best performance, its for a Mk1 saxo vtr and im not sure so far ive looked at:

powertec
K & N
Piper Cross
Ram-Air
BMC

anyone tell me the best one?

bmc, tho i just got a K&N and it sounds amazing and the engine is more responsive smileys/happy.gif

bmc are rated the best with the pipercross viper following close behind.
the best induction kits are the enclosed filter induction kits as it stops the hot air getting into the filter at lowe speeds so that a power gain is obtained all the way through the rev range however its the top end thats normally increases the most, plus you do get that sweet motorsport sound.

there is a new induction kit that i have seen floating about. it was £200+, not sure how it is...must be good for the price!

that looks like an interesting design seems like a more advanced development upon the green dynatwist, pipercross viper & bmc cda. look forward to seeing whether this actually beats current power gains from uprated air fitration.

posted a thread up about it a while back....Scott said he had seen one car with it fitted but...as for power gains...who knows!
