Rough power estimate of my Rallye..

Just a quick question from me to any member of sax-p.. What would you have thought roughly the power output on my rallye..

It's a 1.6 8valve TU 103bhp engine
Piper X Filter ( rubbish i know )
Pugsport full system ( Dummy Cat )
Piper 270 fast road cam
Dastek ecu ( Not sure mapped or unmapped )

I'd have thought maybe around 115bhp? Will listen to anyone's idea.

Id stick with your 115 estimate. I rekon possibly a few more, but not a great deal. Be better to be told its got more than you were expecting than less! Get on the RR!

Cheers man, It does feel very quick for an 8 valve, I'd say 115bhp is a fair estimate :y:

You forgot the 4 branch manifold and vernier pulley!

Old map & r/r printout was about 117.? bhp, limiter set at 8k rpm.

Newer map and r/r of 123.8bhp and 118lb/ft of torque, limiter set back to 7200rpm.

Both rolling road's done without the nitrous, using Dastek's dynamometer

The guy i bought the car off says he has print outs from dastek but doesn't know where they are, I do believe him but just wanted to know what anyone else thought otherwise..

Raging i can't find them, had a look in the spare room and thought id found 1 of them last night but it was just my certificate for passing my roller and dumper test GRRRR.. Cos it was laminated, and the r/r graphs were laminated aswell

Trust me on the power figures, pointless listening to other peoples 'guesstimates' (which actually aren't far wrong really. They reckon 115bhp but you forgot to mention the vernier pulley for the cam, and the 4-2-1 manifold, and the fact it was mapped by Dastek twice)
