hi there i have a mk2 w reg saxo. i was thinking for a project of putting all my saxo bits onto a s2 106 including rear beam, engine, gear box, struts and the complete front end to make a saxo vtr from the front and a pug 106 from behind. i think it'll be something diffrent and a few people have done it before. i was wondering will a s2 106 have a single plug ecu like my saxo? also what will need replacing? ie can the vtr engine just lift directly into a pug 106n and sit perfectly on the engine mounts? also will my vtr ecu be used or the 106 one? etc :y:
cheers

Contradicting yourself there :clapping:

I personally think it's a pointless idea. What 106 are you thinking of using? Quiksilver, Rallye, GTi? 1.1? :geek:

im sure it would look unique bit of a crazy idea though but its up to you if you want to do it, be a real head turner though if it does get done

I reckon it'll look daft and be a waste of time and money! In my opinion.

i just want to know tho will a saxo vtr engine silvertop fit directly into a s2 engine bay and plug in directly after changing the loom??

The engine goes straight in as the mounts are the same. Not sure about the loom though.

haha it is a crazy idea and i love it. just spoke to rauchz and he says the looms are diffrent but disconnecting the engine loom and fit the vtr loom should run fine. since the front end will be diffrent ill use the vtr radiator. problem tho will the vtr bonnet wings etc fit onto a s1 or are they diffrent shapeas etc as i know the s2 106's and saxo mk2 have the same chasis but what about the s1 106 and a mk2 vtr?:y:

S2 106 and mk2 VTR would be your best bet as S1 would require more alterations
