Matthews
2nd March 2010, 17:59

lukee_VTR
2nd March 2010, 18:02
Yeah thats only the backbox, supersprint pipes are supersprint pipes!

I know obviously they are the supersprint pipes because i ordered them :zainy:

Just shocked that it wasn't a supersprint backbox?

Matthews
2nd March 2010, 18:04
how much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking?

Oxas16V
2nd March 2010, 18:07
I think the Supersprint racebox isn't produced anymore, some years ago there was a german ebay store which sold the Supersprint racebox for 70€ new, I was stupid that I didn't bought some of these!

Matthews
2nd March 2010, 18:11

Matthews
2nd March 2010, 18:14

ashk1990
2nd March 2010, 18:17

N80Jamie
2nd March 2010, 18:19

Matthews

Matthews
2nd March 2010, 18:24
how much did you get your one for??

LouisUK
2nd March 2010, 18:35
A lot of people seem to have these so i think i might have try one out :)

You know kam racing do have a dedicated forum in the affiliates section for this stuff

Oxas16V
2nd March 2010, 18:46
the 75 pound price is only for a supersprint center or cat-back pipe, the price for the kamracing backbox isn't included, cause its ot of stock the webpage automaticaly substrated the price!

Have a look on the 106 KAMRACING now has also a 106 backbox there you will see the price only for the backbox or for a whole system!

And the origin SS raceboxes I told which were sold for 70€ thats 55 pounds that was a discount price on ebay store 5-6 years ago!!!, normaly they cost about 199€ in germany in the time they were available!

KamRacing

we were selling the supersprint backbox up until about 6 months ago. We got supersprint to make them especially for us. Piper made our last batch of stainless backboxes but if you look at the new 106 version we have just released it will give you an idea as to what the next variant will be for the saxo.
The supersprint was very good but not everyone wants aluminised steel and its small diameter meant it was quite loud. We may get more made in the future- maybe at the end of the year.

how much did you get your one for??

I paid £309 in total which was the complete de-cat system mate with the mid silencer on centre pipe. Not sure how much the backbox is but it's definately not the supersprint one, however if it is the KamRacing's own one then it really does make up for it, its amazing!

Recommend anyone looking for a new exhaust system (cat-back or full system) to purchase the supersprint systems as they never fail to impress on sound, performance and quality 5*:y:

Matthews
4th March 2010, 12:34

lukee_VTR
4th March 2010, 16:01

Matthews
4th March 2010, 16:13

KamRacing
4th March 2010, 16:18

Ashleyp
4th March 2010, 16:23
Out of intrest kev, how come there isnt any 3" tail pipe's avaliabe for it?

im not in the market for buying one. just curious as im sure there used to be?

KamRacing
4th March 2010, 16:35
Piper make a 3" tailpipe which should be on the site. We could create another version but unlike a business like piper who are geared for making individual units to order we get ours manufactured in large quantities so its harder to store lot of variations.

Matthews
5th March 2010, 13:34
i need to start saving so i can get a vts lump..its a balls living in Ireland theres no vts engines around and if der was they would be like 700 euro:n:

lukee_VTR
5th March 2010, 13:43
:( bad times. I'm thinking of gettin a vts lump, cam it, throttle bodies, mayb stick a turbo on it then once its been minted drop it in my VTR, just so much more to insure than actually buying a VTS lol.

I could get you a VTS lump for £375-£400 then pay shipping on top ?

Matthews
5th March 2010, 13:50
the shipping would be alot id say!! id do it alright after i get my backbox..il start saving could take awhile haha

lukee_VTR
5th March 2010, 14:15
yea start saving mate, will cost a bit i would think

Matthews
5th March 2010, 14:20

lukee_VTR
5th March 2010, 16:19
everything to do a complete straight swap mate. ECU, wiring loom etc etc etc
Try to make sure its unlocked aswell as one of my mates bought a VTS lump and it was locked lol

Matthews
5th March 2010, 16:23

lukee_VTR
5th March 2010, 16:35

Matthews
5th March 2010, 16:42
haha sound kid!!! what you think of Laguna slitters?

lukee_VTR
5th March 2010, 16:49

Matthews
5th March 2010, 16:54
there not that expensive on ebay

lukee_VTR
5th March 2010, 16:55
Yea hmm but you gotta cut them to fit and 9 times out of 10 your gonna get it in black so you will have to paint afterwards ... could end up being costly, but don't get me wrong i like!
