c2 16v head on a saxo furio.

does anyone know if the 1.4 16valve head will fit and work wid a thew adjustments on the 1.4 furio engine. they are booth the same 1360CC. shorley tht would work plus u would get more power.

No... Bottom end is different.

cheers mate i think i will keep with my furio for another year and jus leave it alone. then get a Vts or 106 Gti next year.

hmmm i havent seen this one before. it would be good to find out. i dont see why it wont. bottom end is more than likelly the same. alot of people say the vts head doesnt fit on vtr block but it does. it may be worth a try it would only take bout 2 hours to find out

The only reason people have done it I think it when they've kept the cc below 1400cc for classes.

yeah would be easier he may be trying to keep cost down on buying the whole engine.

but for the price of a head 100 quid ish
then gasket bolts cambelt oil ect itll be more than 300 that you can pick up a 16v for
and he will still need 16v inlet ecu injectors loom ect aswell

might aswell just get a vts motor and save money and time
