ive bought my self a 1.4 1999 saxo but im looking at a few vts engines and all of em are out of the mk2 does the vts from mk2's just straight fit in...
etc different loom/mounts or anything? and would it be best to keep the 1.4 box in or change to 1.6 as im not bothered about top speeds..

the looms differ so youll need a mark 1 loom and single plug ecu aswell as a few sensors to match the earlier loom like
and get a vts box or something lower on the fd
the 1.4 box is about as long as a vtr box and useless on a vts motor its too long like

jst buy a vts mate. less hassel and prob more cost effective if u sell ur 1.4 saxo aswel...torsion bars are thicker on the vts, get 2 airbags in the vts, oil gauge, discs all round ect...the airbags n oil gauge u cld live withowt but ud b wantn to upgrade to discs ol round with a vts engine under the bonnet, ul need the stoppin power lol, and ud want thicker torsion bars aswel....unless ur 17 and cant afford the group 14 insurance, get a vts mate ul love it...and even if u r 17 ud needa tel ur insurance abowt the engine or it wil b invalid so mayawel get a vts
