To change the wiring of my mk2 vts to one plug cpu using a mk1 lomb...
What do i need to modify?

I think you would need a whole mk1 wiring loom mate.

what you need to do is either swap the motor to a 3 plug loom
of the car to the older interior loom

it depends on what engine you have as to which is the best option

that or you could get an adapter loom made up to go between the 2 different loom plugs to convert your wiring

I have a 3 plug loom on my vts...i was to turn it in too a 1 plug loom so im getin one from a mk1 vts...what mods do i need to do to the mk1 loom to fit my engine?

so you want to put a single plug ecu loom in a 3 plug loom car

youll need most of the engine bay sensors (lamdas tps map icv oil level water temp) new fuel injectors and injector loom and either an adapter loom or just cut up and rewire the multi plugs like

Are the mk2 sensors and injectors different from mk1??
What is the easier way ?

you dont need new injectors just the loom (ive got one spare if you need it) and i only changed cts and tps, map and icv were fine as well as the lambda. alternator will need changing too.

all the sensors pretty much are different
easiest way is getting a loom made to go between the car and the engine loom as it become plug and play

there are different injectors and it caused me massive running issues having the wrong ones in there


ive done this sort of conversion twice now and both times had to change pretty much everything electrical on the engine
