VTR to 106 Gti or VTS conversion

Alright folks
Could any tell me if i bought a vts or a 106gti engine for a conversion in to a vtr would a need to change the gearbox and could u tell me what else a would need to upgrade got the cash to start this project just need as much info as poss

you wont wanna use a vtr box with a vts engine really mate, try get an engine with a box

+1 the vtr box has way too long gear ratios to compliment the 16v engine.

was thinkin that myself m8 been looking for a m16 cant find 1 tho

im still confused what to do not sure if a want to go from 1.6 8v to a 16v for the money when a could go a bit more further

its not straight forward fitting anything other than a saxo engine.
