VTR into a Forte.

got myself a forte as a project and it's rattling it's knackers off,
i have heard of alot of people doing VTR conversions into 1.1s.
i can get hold of a VTR engine at a good price and thought i could drop that in, but was wondering what is needed? i would get the VTR ecu and engine loom with the engine, would i need the ecu unlocked? taaaa.

also are the tappets adjustable on the 8valvers?

some tappets are adjustable, some are hydraulic. yeah vtr will go in depending if you have a fuse box under engine bay on right (if its mk2 it shud have) and yeah you will need the ecu to be unlocked them you change the ecu, engine wiring loom and engine, ull probs need stronger shafts aswell..
