few engine problems/questions!

ok here are the questions/problems.

1.) The spring/clip thing attached to the throttle cable isnt attached to anything in my engine bay, will this be a problem? started the car and seems to be running fine but just wanted to double check.

2.) I do have a moaning/squeeling/knocking sound coming from which seems to be under my rocker cover. Any idea what this could be or how to fix it?

3.) Last night i done a huge distance journey and had to fill up twice, both times i filled right to the top but after driving say 20 miles max the fuel indicator had dropped to 3/4 full. this happened both times. It has never done this before and usually can get way more miles on quarter of a tank.
I did manage to do the usual amount of miles on 1 full tank but it just seems the first half of my fuel seems to be going quickly. Any ideas what this could be?

not sure with this one but if it drives i would not worry about it

petrol and a match lol it will just be the tappets try useing a thicker oil might help abit unless you wanna spend some money and get the tappets done proply but tbh i wouldnt bother more than likley cheaper to buy a new engine

sounds like a fuel leak or the car could judt do with a realy good service

dont think a fuel leak tho cos i still managed to do the usual amount of miles on a full tank, was jus the first quarter seem to vanish after 20 or so miles.

need to get it serviced tbh
