As above ^
And, the question i want to know is, for example, on this website...
http://www.motorspeed.com/store_main.asp?int_catalog_id=2&int_category_id=47

There is all different styles and names for the savage exhausts.
Whats the difference between a 4" or a 5" backbox, whats the difference between a slash cut and a jap style one?
Is it just how it looks?
Cheers.

I have a jap style back box on my saxo, its 4 inch in tip diameter. The difference between 4" and 5" is just the size of the tip. Take it form my 4" is MASSIVE! I should know.

Thoes exhausts are just the same as mine, they have a baffle plate on the inside which if its like mine can be removed, so you can adjust the size of the exhaust, this will make it louder or quieter. hope this helps

It means you would have a 4" exit or a 5" exit. both ugly so up to you. slash cut is pretty simple, the end is cut at an angle and jap is just straight

Oh right, thanks. If i just bought a universal back box, e.g a savage from the website above, how much ££ am a looking roughly for a garage to fit it?

My cousine works in kwik-fit so i just gave him £15. Just go round your local garages and just ask how much.

Wouldnt i need some kind of specialist to fit it then, as its a custom back box for any car, wouldnt it need welding and things to make it fit right to my car?

+1 on that. If no one buys it on ebay then im sure a trip to the local rubbish dump would save you the embarrassment of having what is essentially a glorified baked bean can on the back of your car.

Powerflow Also good zorsts. So is the SaxSport system. Your looking at about £70 for a garage to fit it. And then Youll have to pay to get it removed because youll hate it.

I'm pretty sure my car had a Savage on it when I bought it, it was horrible looking and really loud!
Ive taken it off and put a standard one on for now.

Tbh ditch the idea of getting a Savage back box they are crap & a lot of garages will not want to fit a universal box as their a pain to fit.
