well, ive already saw the topics about turbo's , but im looking for something simpler ;)

well in Portugal, its almost impossible to change our cars because of our law.
So a friend of mine told me to think in putting a turbo in my saxo:P

i liked the idea because he told me that it would be hidden and cops wouldn't see it :y:

his idea would be to cut exhaust colectors and put there the turbo, and make a conection to the oil, just this !!! and making pressures of 0,5 bar there would not be any problem in the engine !
And also im NOT a guy that squeeze's engines:cool:

This because a friend of him has put a turbo in a Opel corsa 1.2 and the car was always in red line, and had pressures of 0,5 than 0,8 and only with 1.2 something happened.

Well what have u to say, to this testmonial;)
do you aprove the turbo ?

If the Police lift the bonnet it will be blatently obvious lol

But the turbo would be under the exhaust manifolds.. so its almost invisible to police right?

And what about the other tubing/pipes that you would need?

i think the police would need to be blind not to see it and the pipework to and from the intercooler may be a giveaway lol

A intercooler would not be needed if he was only running 0.5psi.

in portugal with high ambiant temp i would think it would be a good idea to run an ic

i sax the pictrure but, i was thinking in something really simple, with the turbo and the conection to the oil. just that.

as i said a guy put this only things in a opel corsa 1.2 really old and there was no problem until 1.2 bar and always in red line....

In that case there is no way of having a discreet turbo, unless you could blag them it came out of the factory like that?

If i was in your position i would just get some cams and headwork, totally invisible from just looking under the bonnet. Also a performance panel filter and a 4-2-1 manifold but keep the original heat shield and use hi temp paint to spray the manifold black to keep it low-key. Also maybe a better centre section with a silencer to keep the noise down a little. Should see pretty good gains and be a lot more covert than a turbo. Other than that stick to suspension and brake modifications :)

well the law its that i cannot put ANYTHING ! extra in the car.
these includes, exhaust, take off the cat, inductian air with green filter, suspensions.. etc etc...

recently i had been taken off the documents because the cat, and the green filter... so i was thinking in something different..
and also my friend told me about the hypothesis of placing a turbo

Cant you put and pic of your friends corsa up so we can get and idea. because i dont full understand apart from hiding the turbo. To hide the turbo you could get a heat shield made up so it cover the manifold

i'll try to get some, cause i also didnt saw it

The only option really, as said is cams and headwork.

You could hide the turbo under a heat shield. Although you would have to be insanely blind to not see it. But the boost pipework will be blatantly obvious among other things.

put the turbo under the boot floor. Doubt anybody will look there.

Put the whole engine and turbo in the boot, have a dummy engine in the front. ;)

:bump: that would be a good hypothesis hihi

well i try to get the photos of that corsa to see what happened there...

and im seeing that, for what u say its impossible to hide the turbo.. but what i've been told its that the turbo would be under the exhaust manifold, so no one would see it..
